    Just thought i'd post here but i've been having the same issue as everyone else with the 0x80820002 error. long story short, bought my xbox one from amazon set it up and tried to play a game today, got met with the 0x80820002 error. After tweeting Xbox Support
    they gave me the usual power cycle etc, after saying i've tried all that and asking specifically is this a software issue and how long till its fixed, they said if the issue continues i should just exchange my console with amazon. Nice to see Microsoft owning
    up to an issue they clearly caused.

    unless something is done soon i'm going to have to bite the bullet and send it away.

    Anyone had any more info from Xbox/Microsoft?

    Xbox one x purchase

    so if I bought it from Amazon for 500 the same price because Amazon has 2-day shipping I can't get the points but it says buy an Xbox one x it doesn't say directly from Microsoft

    Yes I suppose so I bought it from Xbox of Amazon. I was talking about removing the update the update which I tried but didn't work.

    Welcome to the group that is the same problem

    we are with error 0x80820002

    microsoft has not officially commented on the issue

    but the error is happening to multiple users

    Multiple isnt the word its a disgrace no1 knows wether to wait for a patch or send it away persnally I feel like throwing it out the window

    I'd highly suggest doing the Advance Exchange. The whole process takes 2 weeks to complete. They do place a temporary hold of $400 as collateral, but in my experience with this Exchange, they placed a charge for $400 then immediately refunded it. Just
    make sure you have the money in your account and you should be good to go.

    I've got the same issue. my error is (0x808200002). I've deleted the blu ray player app, saw on line that worked for someone with this error code and I've rest the system a couple of times and it still won't read the disc.
