Xbox on Windows Questions

I like the idea of being able to stream my xbox onto my laptop screen and also being able to play multiplayer across two devices.

Will this stream be via internet? Do you think there will be any delay?

I guess I don't really understand how it works, do we need to be close enough to xbox for the controller to work or can we plug the controller into the computer (USB) and play our xbox anywhere? I will be traveling a lot this summer as a production assistant
on a tour, will I be able to play my xbox from home on my computer?

It is meant to be played over WiFi on your home network. I guess you could use a tunneling service to remote play it, but i would imagine there would be too much lag for that to be any fun. Probably gonna vary lots on which game you would try that on. But
it was meant for streaming in your home basically.

As to the controller, you can just plug in the xbox controller any time using the usb cable (Play/Charge kit) and the drivers for it will be installed.

I use mine all the time playing PC games that i feel more comfortable playing with a controller on. Works perfectly.

If you are travelling a lot and want to game on the road, then this could be a solution :

A little on the expensive side, but if you got the cash, it's well worth it. I saw one at a cafe a couple of months ago that had this with his x360, and saw it live. Very cool stuff. A suitcase you just open and the lid and start playing is awesome

No problem! To answer your second question, yes the power adapter is compatible for Xbox One S, Xbox One X, and Windows 10 and is the only Kinect adapter available. You can use the adapter to connect a Kinect for Xbox One to an Xbox One S or an Xbox One
X or you can use the adapter to connect either a Kinect for Xbox One or Kinect for Windows v2 to a Windows 10 PC.
