    Xbox on stereo headset cord


    So my cord from my headest to the adapter is acting very odd. Im thinking it may be a short in the wire . is it possible to get this fixed or do i have to spend another 60 dollars. Just looking to see if i can do anything about it without replacing as
    funds are very tight.

    I'm looking for the perfect Headphone\Headset!

    The regular Xbox one stereo headset cost 59.00 works on both my Xbox one and smartphone by cord tho not bluetooth

    Stereo Headset adapter...crackling audio

    Same popping issue with my xbox stereo headset. unplugging the headset cord and plugging it back in temporarily fixes it (a few minutes)

    Sorry to hear it. If this is an Xbox branded headset then the warranty is 90 days for accessories. If it's another brand then you would need to check the warranty status of the product on their side.

    Unfortunately discussion of self repair of hardware is forbidden on the forums.

    Are you experiencing where you move the cord and you hear feedback? For damage to your headset you might want to get a hold of xbox support

    Contact Us    . They might have a option for you if its an actual Microsoft Xbox product. if not call the third party support see if you are still eligible for their manufacture warranty.
