    Xbox On - since last update - always puts my receiver on mute after turning on


    Since the last update, when I turn my Xbox One on, it turns on the my receiver but it also seems to always send the mute command too so it is always starting up on mute. This has worked fine for a year or more.

    I have hard booted the X1.

    Anyone else experience this? I have a Sony Receiver.

    X1 stopped turning on and off my audio receiver since update

    Hey everyone hoping to get some help. I am not sure if this has to do with the update but my X1 stopped turning on and off my audio receiver. Volume and mute commands still work. this morning the audio receiver stopped turning on and off when I turn power
    my X1. Cable box and tv still work fine. Everything has worked perfect since I got my X1 in early January.

    My setup is:

    X1 HDMI into Samsung HWD550/ZA HDMI into Samsung LED

    LIVE Connection Error

    Its fixed now. Even after turning the UPnP back on it still didnt work. So I turned on my xbox and turned it back on to receive an update. Once the update was complete everything was fine. Wish I had gotten the update earlier

    Lag Issues out of nowhere (Right after latest update)

    Strange enough, I have been having some similar issues since the last update, my internet has always been fine, always receiving the speeds I should, and then since the latest update my Xbox will disconnect itself from Xbox Live for absolutely no reason,
    my internet doesn't drop out either, it is very strange.

    update- I have tried a few other lg options for audio receiver. I can mute and unmute typically.. I have turned off my TV's auto shut down feature for any HDMI-CEC Anynet devices. this is what turned the receiver off in the last statement.

    when I say xbox turn off and yes. I see my tv shut off as well as my xbox one. What I also see is a red flash on my audio receiver as it gets a code. this code does not turn off my receiver. So I know they are communicating just not perfectly yet. :(
    hope someday this is resolved.. any help is appreciated.

    You wont have that issue if you plug the cable into the XB1 as the tv will always be on with voice control. My receiver wasn't in any list either you have to manually put it in. Also you can only control the volume up/down and mute with the xbox. Also it
    will shut off or turn on if you select that under the settings. No input changes or control over the power ....yet

    If you have the money i would get a new Xbox and the time frame for a Xbox is how you treat it i have always turned my Xbox off when not in use never dropped it put it in corners... ETC and my Xbox elite has lasted be since 2009 to this day.

    I haven't turned mine on since the service alert last night. The update though, I hope its a quick one. I LOVE the fact that the console and the games are updated frequently but they always hit me at the wrong time lol. I'll sit down after not playing for
    a few days, to see updates. On my connection, they usually take a while.
