Xbox on PC only shows me as "Online" to my friends on certain games, How do I fix this?

This thread was escalated and I am here to provide guidance to your thread.

I have read over your thread and can understand the frustration. For something of this caliber, I have forwarded your issue with the correct teams for the Xbox App, Xbox Game Bar, and additional teams. I can say with confidence that sometimes when you play on PC it will display some Games and other's not because of the improvements we are making day to day on the App and Game bar to better fit the Xbox - PC relationship.

For example, when I play Final Fantasy 14 which has it's own launcher it will display on the Xbox that I am playing the game on PC, however when I play Fallout 4 through steam, it simply displays me as online. The communication channels between your game launcher or platform, Windows and Xbox is still something we are working to improve every day.

You can try this solution from this thread:

"If games aren't being recognized by Xbox Game Bar, you can add it to the games list. To do so, you'll only need to launch the game, and then open Game Bar (Win + G), open Settings > and tick "Remember this is a game"."

Otherwise, I cannot add any other additional details to assist in this issue.

I'm reading every answer, I'm trying to explain that not all games will be shown on your profile, some of them will only show if you are on the Xbox app version of the game, or if the game has crossplay with Xbox, but not all games will be shown

You are using the games trough steam and Epic launcher, you mentioned that before, that's not using the games trough the Xbox app

Your friends are probably using those games through the Xbox app, not Epic or steam, normally the games that will be shown on your profile are those that you play on Xbox through games pass or have crossplay with Xbox

Yes, I think we have a language barrier here but yes.

Most of my Steam games show up on my Xbox Statuses. Ones that come to mind that don't are Resident Evil 7, Resident Evil Village, Destroy All Humans, Holdfast Nations at War, Grand Theft Auto 3. Out of 30 games. I have seen a friend playing Resident Evil Village on Xbox PC so for some reason other people's can show up my Xbox App just doesn't show for certain ones? Maybe it's sync issue?

On Epic store, I own 4 games and Mafia 2 Definitive Edition and Chivalry 2 are the 2 that don't show up. My friend is actually playing Chivalry 2 on Xbox PC right now so again his shows up but mine doesn't?

So strange.

I really just want a response equal to mine giving an elaborate straight forward answer to my issue. I've been dealing with this for months and again this is my 2nd thread on here about it.
