    Xbox on App isn't showing drives for install


    Have launched the app to install new games from the Xbox app for PC, however, when I try to select the install drive, it shows a blank. Reinstalled the app, checked for viruses/malware, and even check for updates. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening

    It doesn't even see the drives. Tried it on the Epic Games installer and drives are showing

    Hello! Have you checked your disc space to make sure you have enough memory for the install?

    I have updated to the latest version of Windows 10 and the Xbox app. By "Xbox companion" do you mean the "Xbox Console Companion"? It is the only thing with "companion" in it related to Xbox that I see in the App Store. I downloaded it and everything is up to date now. The problem remains, Xbox app will not show any installation location option for Flight Simulator. This is a very annoying problem I wouldn't expect from Microsoft. I just want to use the app I paid for. Also, if it helps, I went into the Xbox app options and cannot set a default location for games to install too, it's like the Xbox app isn't detecting my hard drives at all. Also, when I go to "manage installs" in the Xbox app, it's showing 3 installs at the top of the window but only 2 games installed on the left hand bar.

    I will give this a try and cover my bases. I am pretty certain the hard drive is good but just to be sure I will give this a try and see what the results are. The hard drive isn't old at all.

    I can still install games on the drive, and play games on the drive it just doesn't show up in the games & apps menu.
