    My girlfriend spilled water on my Xbox and now it’s too loud when i turn it on and off or when i press the disk button. Any button i press is SUPER loud on my console but on my screen everything is fine it’s not too loud coming from my television, only
    from the actual xbox

    Hi.

    The water might have moved some of the dust around the fans.

    If you have insurance on it try and get it repaired.

    If not try putting a hairdryer over it to blow the dust out then try to hoover it out through the holes.

    If you want to get it fully sorted it night have to be taken apart/sent Microsoft for repair.

    Can cost but it could save the xbox itself.

    What sort of sound are you getting? Just a super loud fan sound, or does it sound like the fan is hitting something? I get a super loud fan on my Xbox One X, but never anything more than that.

    Most xbox consoles will make noise when it's running a game; it's natural if it sounds like a fan running, loud or not.

    If it's some other sound, like a clanking sound or something like that, then that could be a problem.

    Fortnite isn't a massively demanding game, graphics-wise, so it shouldn't be loud...I run Forza Horizon 5 (quite demanding) for hours on end and I never hear the fan running.

    Could you upload a clip of the fan running loud to YouTube, OneDrive or somewhere and then link to it here...that way we can hear it and determine if it sounds faulty?

    Xbox series s makes noise that aren’t coming from the fan, and you can also hear it when the console is off, is that normal?

    It is the fan which is cooling your system, however it should not be loud like that. It is possible that the fan is damaged if the sound is that loud.
