    Hello Xbox Community, I changed my gamertag yesterday and ever since then it's been showing my old one above the new one my new gamertag shows up perfectly in games and while im streaming or doing anything else but while im in a party or looking at my profile it displays the old tag it also displays my old tag above the new one to my friends whenever they check their friends list. If anyone knows a fix to this please respond quickly as this is a very frustrating topic

    My old tag was "Rsmpy" my new one is "xDyli" here's a picture below

    Why has my gamer tag not changed on xbox1

    Gamer score leaderboard also shows as my old gamer tag above my game points, are these places where my new gamer tag should be on Xbox 1? On my Xbox 360 my old gamer tag is nowhere to be found even if I look for it

    Yeah I’ve tried that multiple times so far it hasn’t worked but I factory reset my console and will tell you how it goes.

    I saw something like that when my brother used to change his gamertag some times. it took some time to be in sync with partychat . Maybe you could try to redownload your profile. maybe that will update your profile info.

    I have the exact same problem, reset everything for some reason it shows my new gamertag underneath my old one. Please anyone let me know if you find a fix it's really annoying it's been like this for weeks.
