    Xbox Offline update insider program


    Hi,

    I purchased a user Xbox One original edition for my daughter to fix off of ebay.

    The console was being sold for "repair" and I wanted to teach my daughter some troubleshooting skills.

    The xbox is having an E100 error.

    After a lot of digging the issue appears to be the Xbox was part of the insider program and an update did not work out.

    It does not appear the past owner unregistered the console and I have no way of knowing who it was or contacting them or rolling back the console to before the update that gave the E100 error.

    Since the console was part of the insider program I can not do an offline update with the files available to the public on Microsoft website.

    Is there any way to fix this?

    Can I join the insider program and register the console and get an insider update?

    I was speaking with Microsoft support and they indicated that since this is a insider issue they are not sure how to move it forward and will get back to me.

    I was hoping someone can help me here.

    Xbox One infinite system update loop

    Are you in the insiders program?

    If you are then use a windows 10 machine and download the xbox insider's app and remove your console then apply the update

    If not in the insiders program use the offline update tool

    If you are In the insiders program and only if you are in the insiders program

    Login on a windows 10 machine and download the insidera app

    Then remove your console.then update

    After ehich you can reenroll
