    Is it possible to make an offline profile now, or is that unfortunately not the case yet?

    By offline profile I mean, no need to make a Microsoft account to play

    Xbox Offline/Local Profile

    On Xbox One, Windows 10 and the upcoming Series X, you will need to create a Microsoft account to play games. On the Xbox 360 console you do not have to create a Microsoft account to play.

    No, you can't merge a local profile with an already existing Xbox Live account, it is only possible to 'upgrade' that local profile to a new Xbox Live account. If you want to do that see the steps on this link:

    hi klrskir, I cannot delete and re-dload the profiles as they are local offline profiles, that is the problem, offline local profiles are trying to connect to live. try and sign in and out on your profiles without being online..............thanks.

    Mix a local account and an Xbox Live account

    You can you gotta click join xbox live on the local profile and sign up this means the currently existing online profile cannot be merged with the offline profile
