No idea what SPE
Synergistic Processing Element
PowerPC
It also stands for Instruction Set Architecture, part of which is the "language" (opcodes)
that the processor can "speak" (decode).

Both the 360 and the PS3 have CPUs which are sophisticated enough that they can't be easily emulated on the new generation of consoles.

3. Just daisy chain your consoles. I works perfectly.

What is this long ended obsession with old games on next gen?It aint gonna look any better, itbisnt even programmed for it,pretty much 95% of decent hdtvs have multiple hdmi ports,so whats the problem of having the xb1 and 360 next to each other,I think itvlooks
pretty cool , one either side of your tv,after many years of them getting the 360 fine tuned and pretty much bang on,everyones done with it?

I actually sorta regret getting rid completely of my 360 and all games as im n8w missing playing certain games with m8s,but by no means would I want to play them on xb1,360 is for 360 end of.

The problem with having multiple consoles hooked up is it looks cluttered. Not my opinion but others have come up with this bizarre excuse

You have to realize that the PS3 already had an 8cell processor and ill bet my bottom dollar that it didn't use all or them most likely just 4 (aka what we have now) so its easier to code the PS3 games to the PS4. Xbox on the other hand has a special power
pc 3 core. Xbox would literally have to re write the code to work and MS already said it wasn't worth doing because only a small percentage used it from the original Xbox to the 360.

Do you think Xbox will do something like Playstation Now? Maybe just a subsrciption service to be able to play all the Xbox 360 games?
Since Microsoft has no handheld to stream too I'm not sure this would make as much sense to them.

Hate to burst anyone's bubble But I tested The Playstation Now and it works just like playing remotely on your VITA. As in yes from time to time you may have some latency issues but it's not bad at all and very playable. I think it would depend on ones internet
connection also - I have 25mb/25mb symmetric connection.

Basically Microsoft is going to say no this sucks when they didn't think of something. But on the other hand they are going to promise you the Xbox one will perform better over time using Cloud Computing (which happens to take place over the internet and
will depend very much on bandwidth availability and latency). So while the Xbox team is still dreaming in the clouds the Sony team is busy rolling out advancements - just my opinion.

I also wanted to add that they are ADDING emulation support to the ps4 for older games and I can link you articles for this.

So I hope Microsoft gives it some thought at least. That might make me come back to xbox gaming actually - you know if Microsoft actually shows they care enough to listen to their customers.

Feel free. As of
now there is no emulation coming to the PS4 for PS3. PS1 and PS2 already have x86 emulators available. Sony adding emulation for free doesn't sound like something they're going to do.
The overwhelming majority of customers don't use BC.

What, the SPEs that don't talk PPC but have their own custom ISA? There were seven of them, plus the PPC core.
Sony's console was using different architecture in their PS3 than what's in the PS4. They went from cell processor that they made in conjunction with IBM, to one made by AMD.
