    Xbox Not Working Right


    Earlier this morning I was happily playing games on my xbox. Now, every time I open a game it tells me that I don’t own it. In my free online games, it’s saying that I have to buy xbox live to play, but I buy a one year every December. I have tried turning
    it off and on, unplugging it, and switching counts and it doesn’t work. Please help soon.

    Well, according to Xbox the last thing you did was go on Xbox Music and Video. What I recommend you do is change your password to your Xbox account, and disconnect your gamertag from all connected devices so that way any devices that is signed onto your
    account will be disconnected.

    I recommend doing this immediately. If you need help with anything, just PM me.

    So I was on the dashboard earlier and saw something about getting a free hoverboard thing for my avatar. I clicked on it but decided I didn't want to do the required stuff to get it. So I exited out. But my console froze. And now I can't sign in. It will
    let me sign in on my profile but not connect to live. It tells me to check my connection. So I test the network and it connects but of course it had me signed out. So I go to sign back in and it starts over. I can't get on my profile unless I'm not connected
    to live. And then my boyfriend said that someone was on my account watching some music videos or some crap. So was I hacked when I tried to get the free hoverboard? And is my console now ***?

    You mean you did a Factory Reset on your console?

    Sorry to hear you're having issues.

    The first thing I would try is performing a hard reset of the console. To do this, simply hold down the power button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds (or until the console turns off.) Once the Xbox turns off, disconnect the power cord and
    wait ten seconds. Once those ten seconds are up, go ahead and plug the console back in and try restarting. Let me know if that helps!

    When the console is on, try pressing the power button for 10 seconds.

    This is a hard reset and may solve your problem. Let us know, but if it persists, it could be a hardware problem.
