Xbox not updating game, then procceeded to not connect to xbox live.

So quick thing first: I was playing with a friend last Sunday [The 19th]. Following morning, tried to update a game: got met with Installation Stopped. Thought "Okay, nothing a power cycle won't fix. Next thing I know, it's connecting to the internet, but
not Xbox Live [And when it does, I still can't update games. Nor can I join parties or play online].

I have tried every solution that I could find for both problems but to no avail. I've tried power cycling, soft factory reset, reset the router, the modem, I've tried switching the DNS, the ports, made sure the MAC address was all good. And the thing is,
the other Xbox we have [I have a Xbox One, and we have a One S in the living room] started to have the same issue, on the same day no less. It's highly doubtful they both started having the same hardware issue at the
exact same time and given that we've cleared everything on our end [bar a full restart of our router and modem set up]... well I'm a bit lost honestly.

Short Version: 19th - Console(s) working fine. Following day: Greeted with "Installation Stopped" messages and no connection to Xbox Live despite having a connection to the internet, when it does connect to XBL, there's no functionality. Have tried every solution
that I can find bar fully restarting the router and the modem and going through the set up process (again), and I don't know what else to do.

Update to the Update: the issue has been resolved! As it turns out, the issue, oddly enough is that the router wasn't recognizing either of the consoles as gaming consoles. One was apparently a networking device to one of them, and another was a Windows PC
to it, as opposed to gaming consoles.

But it's all working now! Thank you for your efforts to help!

Hi Leo! New update: I think we've isolated the issue on our end, we just wanna double check that everything's A-OK with the xbox settings!

IP, DNS, and Alt Port Selection settings should be set to Automatic, with it showing the NAT type as Open - correct?

For the Multiplayer Connection Test, the error code is 0x0000000000000000 [Full message is: "Back up and try the test again. If it still doesn't work, there may be a problem with your network."]

[Also, if it's worth noting, it says that "Service info is unavailable"]

Unfortunately, I didn't have any luck with those solutions.
