    Xbox Not Tracking Playtime


    Hey, i know this isnt an urgent problem but my Xbox isnt tracking my playtime specifically on 'Dead By Daylight', i checked and it appears to be tracking my playtime as per usual on other games. In the stats screen on the game community it just shows just
    30 minutes logged and i have definitly played hours more than that. I know this isnt a major issue but it is kind of off putting as id like to know how much of my life I've wasted on a game, i have searched this issue but the last report of this seems to be
    from 2014, you know, 6 years ago now and the answers for fixing it then dont seem to be working now.

    I think they do track time. if you go to compare games it will compare you know different games that you played with your friends if they played that game and I think it will show the time at least for me it did for GTA.

    Playtime is only added on once you exit the game try doing a power cycle you can find out how here https://support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/power/restart-or-power-cycle-console

    If that doesn't work try removing your account from your Xbox then add it again https://support.xbox.com/help/account-profile/manage-account/add-remove-account-xbox-one open
    the game wait a few minutes then close it https://support.xbox.com/help/games-apps/apps-help/how-to-close-xbox-one-app-or-game and
    then check to see if the playtime has gone up.

    So, my games such as: COD:Black Ops 3, Fortnite, and GTA 5 have not been tracking my playtime for about 2 weeks. I’ve heard it could be due to the pandemic but im not sure. For example, the COD game has been saying “18d 23h 34m” for the entire 2 weeks,
    although I’ve been playing it. If anyone could give answers or anything that would be great.
