Xbox not stuck on troubleshooting screen

So I've been having issues with my Xbox one X for about two weeks now. At first whenever I tried to play certain games the console would freeze and force me to do a hard reset. Next I noticed that when I pressed the guide button the console would also freeze
and after like five minutes I'd get an error message that the Microsoft store or the dashboard was taking too long to start. I'd usually have to hard reset after that too.

Now yesterday when I turned on the Xbox there was an update for the Microsoft store app and ot began downloading and installing automatically. As far as I know it completely downloaded and was installed. I didn't lose power or internet during the installation
or anything like that. The update immediately made my Xbox reset upon installation and it was stuck on the green xbox loading screen for three hours. Eventually I held down the power button to turn the console off. When I tried turning it back on the result
was the same: infinite green loading screen.

I browsed Microsoft answers to see of there was a solution and based on advice I entered the troubleshooting menu and tried a factory reset. That didn't work. Both the option to keep the games and the option to have a full wipe fail at about 50%-58% during
the process then I get the following error code

"e203 0000080c 80070102".

Trying to turn off and turn on the console throws me back into the troubleshooting screen with no exit from it. Is there anything that can be done?
