    Xbox not showing any display, showing error code 0x80040900


    Brand new Xbox 1S, only had for 2 months is turning on, and making noise. But won't actually show anything on the screen. However when I press the Xbox button on the controller the 'What would you like to do screen shows and gives my the option to turn
    off the console and controller. Is not the HDMI cable as it works fine with other consoles.

    Occasionally when turned on it says: 'Something wen't wrong, error code 0x80040900' and says to enter it online. However, when doing this it says error code doesn't exist.

    Hi Gamer

    This is what I could find for the error code mentioned:

    Have done all the suggested (uninstall and followed all the steps in the help/errors (minus a full console reset)) and still get the 0x80040900 error code. I assume the next step is a full console reset or is there any other angle to resolve this issue?
