xbox not saving anything when offline

so i was playing witcher 3 and had to disconnect my internet from the console because it was causing issues because of the bad connection. i play about 30 hours of gameplay lose power to my house saved 2 hours before that happened reload game when power
was restored no save files presen, restart from last save registered on console when internet was connected and working. so i restart get back up to the same point and i get a call from internet provider saying service is back up. reconnect console to internet
asks me to log in to account go back into game. game restarts and the last save was from before internet crashed. this happens with all games i play. no saves are made when not connected.

Can't download free gold sunset overdrive

When people say "offline", they mean the "always on" or standby mode, not literally "offline". So turn "Power Saving Mode" off.

Back to the Future 30th Anniversary Xbox One

So I bought Back to the Future on Xbox One in the retail store today

When I started it up it said (Forgive me if I translate it wrong since my region is Dutch) "Your last saved data is not available"

"Try again or use this game offline"

I don't want to play it offline or anything since when I do no achievements pop up and knowing the achievement nut I am-

The only game that does this btw, no pop up like this on any other game

I don't know if this is due to the game not being officially released yet in the Xbox live store or not

Hey Cyborg Gimp! When disconnecting from the internet, do you sign out of the account as well? Additionally when you reconnected to the internet did you get an option to pick which save location to load? Post back and let me know!

If your game saves are cloud saves you cant play anything offline.

the save won't transfer, when you enable mods on a gamepass game that save then becomes unusable on the console and for anything online.

Basically once you have modded a game you can only play that offline or on custom servers.

If you played those games while online, when you launch the game it should give you an option to sync saved data with the cloud. This will let you download those saved games and play them again. If you play while offline there isn't
anything that can be done unfortunately.

It doesn't. When you re-downloaded your profile, it overwrote the version saved on your console.

Even if you had saved a copy on a flash drive, next time you connect it that too would be overwritten because the server recognises the new one as the proper version and anything done offline is lost.
