    Xbox not recognizing trial membership


    I'm signed up for a trial membership on Xbox Live, and when I check the account on my computer, it shows that I am subscribed. When I try to play multiplayer on my Xbox, though, it takes me to a screen asking me to pay to subscribe. When I click "no thanks"
    at that screen, I get a message from the game that I don't have the necessary privileges to access Xbox Live. I've tried this with Call of Duty: AW and Assassin's Creed 4.

    I've checked my account privileges, and they're set to allow network gaming. Network and multiplayer network tests show nothing wrong with my connection. I've reset the router and the Xbox a couple of times, and still get the same problem....

    Destiny not recognizing XBox Gold membership

    I'm currently having an issue with Destiny not recognizing an XBox Gold membership. It is a full version (not trial membership). I've tried:

    Deleting profile from Xbox

    Clearing xbox cache/full power off and restart

    Verifying network status

    Re-downloading profile

    And it still says I don't have a Gold account. I contacted Bungie regarding this, and they referred my to XBox for further support. Is there something I've missed? Other accounts on this Xbox work fine with it, so I'm thinking its not the game itself.

    Xbox is not recognizing my Xbox gold membership

    today my Xbox is not recognizing my Xbox live membership and is asking me to join and buy Xbox live. Yesterday I did not have this issue. Please help!!!

    Hi there Bl4chSh33p,

    As per the Xbox Live Rewards FAQ, trial memberships may not be eligible for Xbox Live Rewards. See here: "Xbox Live Rewards can only recognize paid monthly or yearly standard, non-promotional Xbox Live Gold memberships. If you have a different type of membership,
    we may not be able to recognize you as an Xbox Live Rewards Gold member."

    Purchasing an Xbox Live subscription while on a trial SHOULD add the remaining days of the trial to your subscription. I'm not 100% certain on that though.

    Unfortunately it is intended that Trials do not stack
    with existing memberships. It's also mentioned on the support page Xbox Live Gold trial memberships

    Notes

    • The Xbox Live Gold trial membership is associated with a single gamertag.
    • You can't add an Xbox Live Gold trial membership to an existing membership.
    • Only three trial accounts are available per console. This limitation cannot be reset.
    • After a user has created three trial accounts on their console, the user no longer receives a message that provides the opportunity to create an Xbox Live Gold trial account.
    • To sign up for the Xbox Live Gold trial membership, you must add a payment method to your account.
    This also works in a vice versa way meaning that if you have a trial membership it will be lost if you purchase a gold membership

    My Xbox one live gold membership says that it'll renew on 2016, yet all my games tell me that I need gold to play online. How can I fix this? Plz help

    Did you have a Trial membership or paid ? Because i have the same problem, on Microsoft webpage under subscriptions it says i have Gold Trial but the Xbone won't recognize it and won't let me play online...haven't found any fix yet even after factory reset....

    CaptSpacecase the membership that comes with the console is not a trial membership. The only way to get a month of trial membership is by creating a new account. Alternative trial memberships are in new games which give you 48hours 1 week or 2week trial
