Xbox not recognizing external harddrive

I turned my Xbox on this morning and it decided to no longer recognize my external....i read the previous suggestions and tried them, none of them work....i have almost 2tbs of data on it, please, if anyone can actually help, I would appreciate it.

I've already gone through all of those suggestions on there, none of them work.

Nope, didn't work....none of the usb ports will work with it, I've tried everything I can think of

alternatively you may want to look at the externals support page as well

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart
the console.

Its already been formatted for xbox. The console isnt recognizing it so couldnt format it if I wanted to
