Xbox not recognising inserted disc

Are you playing with the disc inserted in the console?

Try to launch the game through the disc icon in the main menu of the Xbox, to see if that way the game recognises properly the full license you have.

it is now april 9th I have had another beta update and it does not *** the disc back in that seems ok for now but it does still mess about when you insert another game it doesn't recognise the disc or says there is no disc in so you take it out and insert
it again maybe 2 or 3 times before it recognises it properly it is still not right so Microsoft I hope you see this and I hope your engineers know there is still problems with the update

It just doesn't recognise the disc at all, usually you insert a disc it them prompts the download, my Xbox is up to date and theres not really any help online to resolve the issue, the game is just a £70 paper weight at the minute👎

The App downloaded the first time I inserted a disc. It just doesnt' seem to recognise them, like I say it plays games fine.

No, they are not being turned off. You can still play disc games once the game has been removed from the store. If the game discs are not being recognised, then it could be an issue with the discs or the disc drive. Make sure the discs are clean, and try inserting the disc again.
