Xbox not receiving party and game invites

    Xbox not receiving party and game invites


    These past couple of days I have not been able to receive party and or game invites on my account/console. They do not appear in my notifications tab but yet the mobile Xbox app is receiving them.

    I signed onto a separate Xbox to see if it was just my console and I ran into the same issue, still not receiving any game or party invites. I get messages and other notifications such as friends being online but not invites. I also tested my brother's account and he receives everything just fine.

    I called Xbox support and have done every "fix" under the sun. Adjust network settings, clearing MAC address, checking notification settings, router/modem restarts, changing DNS settings, checking family settings and factory resetting my console.

    I'm at a loss at the moment. I don't understand why my Xbox mobile app receives these party invites yet no matter what I do I can not receive them or see them on my console.

    Please any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Xbox game invites

    I can join parties and receive party invites just fine. The problem is the game invites. For example, I was trying to play Call of Duty: Warzone through a Looking For Group post. I join the party but then don't receive the game invite and can't invite
    them to my game.

    I’m receiving everything but friends getting on and sometimes I don’t get party invites and game invites. I’m playing on a Xbox console, but my Xbox app isn’t working either

    I have tried cycling the router. I'll check about the moderate open NAT settings. Maybe something I missed. It's weird because it's sort of random. Some days will be fine, and others I won't get messages or invites. Some days I'll get messages but no invites.

    I had this issue a while back and found out my NAT would switch to moderate open quite a bit since my friends had low NAT we had trouble playing together. Try to follow Microsoft guide to opening up your router and also find out what you friends NAT is.
    Have also tried cycling power on the router and modem?
