    Not reading USB

    okay I have always used this USB which has my main profile on it and all my game data and for some reason it isn't even reading it in the storage I go to look for game data on it and it says unknown user please help so I don't lose everything

    Hey there, Lilman!

    I'm sorry to see any USB reading issues. The unfortunate side is that once this happens, the data on the USB device is corrupted and cannot be recovered. I understand how frustrating this can be, however your purchases are still linked to your profile which
    you will be able to redownload once you
    format the USB device
    again.

    Xbox not reading USB

    Some USB's do make data inaccessible. Which brand are you using? There's nothing I can suggest to regain access to those files however if you format the drive on your pc before configuring it on the console it should prevent that from happening again.
