Xbox not reading disk how do I get it fixed

its possible you need to send it off for repair after excessive use the disc reader can ware out.

• Go to Settings
• Select Power & Startup
• Select Power mode and startup
• Select Power mode
• Select Energy saving
• Perform a hard power cycle by holding down the Xbox button for 10 seconds, then press the button again to restart it
• Try the disc again and wait to see if the Xbox One console will read it. If it reads, revert back to Instant-On power mode

Have you tried going to settings, disc and streaming, blu-ray and then clearing persistent storage? Or sometimes putting the disc in and walking away for a few minutes works sometimes. Then there is always putting the disc in halfway. Don't let the console
take the disc completely, then let the console take the disc after a few seconds. I've heard that this method could damage your disc or console but I haven't had any problems yet. The last thing I try if a disc won't read is keep the disc in the console,
reset, turn the console back on, eject the disc, wait a few minutes for everything to load and then try again.
