    I got to change my name changed it to the wanted gamertag pressed next then confirm and my xbox say unable to change gamertag please try gamertag afain doesnt brong up payment method or anything, can anyone help me

    you can if its your first free tag change, its when you have to pay thats the issue.

    GamerTag issue

    Are you attempting to change your Gamer tag on Xbox or online using account.xbox.com. The last time I changed my gamer tag it would not change correctly when I used
    Xbox so I tried the account.xbox.com and it worked first try.

    There is also a section online that states if you have changed your Gamer tag before you will have to use the Online website to change it after the first time. If you are unable to change your Gamer tag after using this account.xbox.com please
    let me know and I will did a bit more into finding a solution for you.

    For me it just says "Something went wrong. Try your gamer tag again" and won’t do anything. Even trying it online doesn’t work. Won’t let me confirm that I want to change it.
