    Xbox not connecting to Xbox Network / internet


    My Xbox is not connecting to the internet.

    I’ve unplugged the console and router, no effect.

    I’ve disconnected and reconnected to the router, no effect.

    I’ve cleared the Alternative Wireless MAC address, no effect.

    Both router and Xbox are on the latest update.

    IP Address and DNS are both visible.

    When I test network connection, it only says Internet problem and gives me 7 possible reasons.

    It’s definitely an issue between the Xbox and router, as all other devices are connected to the internet and working. Furthermore, when I hotspot using my phones Mobile Data everything works.

    This is a recent problem(2days), and is the first time I’ve ever had any issues.

    Assistance would be appreciated.

    The Xbox is connect to the network, and the network is connected to the internet, but the internet won't connect to Xbox Live. I have tried both the USB and the CD/DVD but neither of them are working

    Problems connecting the internet.

    answering to Mr. Fitzer. So when i test the connection it has this line: Console -- network -- internet -- Xbox live

    and for me the connection fails between the network and the internet icons. which means xbox finds my network but wouldnt connect to the internet through it, right?

    done through wireless as my modem is in a different room . xbox will connect to my network , network will connect to internet, problem comes when internet tries to connect to xbox live, this is when the updat notice appears .
