    So I've not had any problems with my xbox one, had it since day one. However since the march patch, it wont boot. I turn it on, either by the button on the front, controller, or voice command and the white xbox light on the front of the console just flashes
    and doesn't do anything, i have to power cycle it everytime to get it to work, if it does turn on without a power cycle i cant select anything on the dashboard either, it happens when turning off too. It starts turning off, the light flashes but then i get
    the notification symbol in the top right and a big buggy tile of whatever i was looking at on the center of my screen, needed another power cycle to sort out. I was using the instant on setting, but after changing it to power saver i don't have these issues,
    does anyone else have this problem and is there a reason for it? I liked my instant on setting. any help would be appreciated

    Ahoy!

    Last played on my UK console at around 5am last night, today when turning it on at around 1pm it prompted me to install an update (which after a bit of googling appears to be the new dashboard update), all seemed fine until the console restarted after the
    download and didn't reach beyond the XBOX 360 logo screen... i.e. cannot get to the dashboard, load a game etc... tried restarting repeatedly, unplugging for a few minutes, the disc tray half open thing suggested in the support forum. I then left it on the
    logo screen while I went to the toilet, upon returning, it was displaying 'Unable to Read System Update, please reconnect storage' (or something similar) and the status code '3CD6-3F45-2780-0F00-C000-0034' which in the support forum says 'contact support'!

    It's a slimline console with 4gb inbuilt storage, about a year old, running through a domestic Orange Broadband 'Brightbox' router.

    Well, I'm sure about the updates because I did it a few times and I didn't get anything (except for the one that came today for Windows Antivirus), but I still haven't done the clean boot solution, and after some more research, I found out that many people after the March 14 update, 2023—KB5023696 to the problem and if the clean boot solution does not help, I have to go back to previous updates.

    However, thank you very much for your help and thank you for your time.

    Hello The, just today Microsoft released the March update for the consoles of line One, after having done the reset, see in the settings and then on system if it does not have an update to do, after updating the system, check if the control needs to be updated as well.
