    Xbox not banning profanity/hate speech?


    This guy, idk if im allowed to say his gamer tag, has said things like [mod removed] and other things over messsages, I can give screenshots. I’ve reported his messages but nothing has happened. Is it because he said these things in German? Does xbox not notify you when action has been taken against the person you’ve reported? This isn’t the first time my reports have been ignored.

    I'm sorry for the trouble and good thing that you have reported the player in that way the enforcement team can check it for you.

    As per the Xbox Support regarding with reporting:

    "We might send you a message letting you know that we acted on the report that you filed. However, due to business, legal, and privacy concerns, we might refrain from sending you specific feedback about your report.

    We don’t send feedback for every report that’s filed. Sometimes the observed activity doesn’t warrant an enforcement action.

    Even if you don’t receive feedback, we appreciate you taking the time to report inappropriate content or conduct on the Xbox network. No matter the outcome, your submission is a valuable part of keeping Xbox fun and safe for everyone, and it’s taken seriously"

    Fair enough. It is just very frustrating for it to have happened at all when there is no profanity, vulgarity, hate-speech, or slurs of any kind in my profile.
