xbox not able to connect controllers to

Hey there LudoManningham-Buller,

Sorry to hear your brother is having a hard time binding the controllers to his Xbox console. Is this an Xbox 360 or an Xbox One that you are having these problems with?

Go ahead and try and
Physically Power Cycle the console and then give it another try, steps are the same with both console, simply press down the power button until the console turns off, give it a few seconds then power it back on. Once the console is back on go ahead and
try and bind the controllers again.

Give this a try and then let us know if it has helped.

You are able to use Xbox One controller through a wired connection on a PC. Here is the support

Everything is normal on internet but controller is not being able to connect to xbox one either even if I connect a cord directly into controller and xboxone console.

HELP! my controller seems to be able to connect to my computer via usb cable and the wireless adapter but the Xbox accessories app is unable to detect a controller. When I first connected the controller via wireless adapter, it was able to detect it and
there were some driver updates, but it disconnected halfway through and after many retries, I have yet to be able to make Xbox Accessories detect controller.
