    Xbox non-responsive to A button Please help!!!


    I have had my Xbox One for a year and a half now and everything has been fine. But today when I turned my Xbox One on the A button on all of my controllers did nothing. Any time I pressed A nothing would happen. I restarted my Xbox One and did a hard shut
    down but it was still broken. If wanted to do anything on the home screen I would have to spam the A button several times. And yet when I do manage to get into a game the A button works but only while in the game. HOW DO I FIX THIS!!!

    Hey, mate. Watch the video 3 times and the first time it was enough to say that this is not normal. I don't have an elite 2(yet) but my first Xbox One controller and my Xbox One S controller works great without me having to press the button hard.

    I suggest taking advantage of your warranty and ordering another controller.

    The warranty only exchanges for another refurbished controller. I would trigger the warranty and order another controller.

    Any advice on the warranty situation. (I am past my gamestop defective warranty) I know from experience that the refurbished controllers usually come with more issues. Should I roll the dice or just play on with this controller. Or is there any way to get a brand new controller with my warranty?

    This was even a little non-typical as I had to hug my camera to get the shot and it still occurred quite frequently. Usually it's worse.
