Xbox noise when turned off

my Xbox one occasionally makes a sound like it's reading a disk when it's turned off. I turn the console off by holding the controller button and selectioning turn off console.

XBox is loud when turned off in instant-on mode

Is it normal that you can hear some noise when the Xbox is turned off in instant-on mode??

 

Won't turn on

When turned on: Green

When off: Orange

Now: When I turn it on all I hear is the Binging noise(XBOX 360 Slim) and the Light stays orange

 

Hey TwilightSoul1! Are you you using Instant-On mode or Energy Saver? Additionally, do you have an external drive attached to the console? Post back and let me know!

I don't think I have instant on mode on by h do have an external drive plugged in

I have checked and I already have instant on mode selected

 

Hey TwilightSoul1! You can try Energy-Saver mode or additionally if you got to Settings -> Power & startup -> Power Mode & startup and choose the "When Xbox is off, turn off storage". Give both a shot and see if they help resolve your issue. Let me know
how it goes!

I already had the box ticked for turn off storage, So i tried selecting energy saving mode but the noise still happened!
