Xbox noise normal?

I just bought the Forza xbox and it's making a static noise not sure if it's normal. Reason i ask is people say the xbox is supposed to be near silent but i can hear this noise about 7 feet away.

Ok well now it makes noise and you can hear it but its very minimal. Do other people's xbox one make noise? Please reply

 

Xbox ONE vs S Noise

I think the original Xbox was the loudest console I owned. Even then, I never minded the noise, really. What kind of noise are you guys talking about? Fans, disc drive, or general clicky noises from the hard drive?

 

That's definitely unusual, I'm going to suggest take it back to the store you purchased it from and tell them what's happening (you can call first) they may be able to swap it out or you can submit a a repair request under the support section but you may
be without an xbox for a while, last suggestion you may not get a response fast enough on here so if you have a twitter account you can tweet your problem to @Xboxsupport and get some help from the awesome team.

Apologies I can add the link to the repair page as I am using a Mobile to write this anyway, I hope you can get this sorted as inwent through the same thing but I didn't do anything about it..

 

Yeah i'm taking it back the noise seems to get louder the longer i play. thanks for your help.
