    Xbox noise coming from my PC


    Hello all, hopefully someone can help me figure out why exactly this keeps happening,

    i play on my xbox but use the companion app on my PC which sits next to my xbox and is connected to my other monitor, and whenever i get a message from someone on xbox, an invite to a party/game, or anything of that nature, it does the normal routine on xbox (pop up/noise, stays for a bit, then goes away) but then my PC makes this horrible, loud distorted noise at roughly the same time, i've been trying to disable my PC from doing this and can't seem to figure out what's causing it to make the noise or how to stop it, i've tried the notifications in the companion app, i've tried settings in the game bar for windows, i just can't seem to figure it out and was hoping for help

    xbox headset connects to pc and xbox at the same time

    I am using the Xbox wireless headset. Also I am hearing the Xbox noises and the noises from my pc.

    it was coming from the hard drive. i did an internet seach and the clicking noise was similar to the "hard drive click of death". A failing hard drive.

    My cousin's xbox one S made the same clicking noise with no beep, the clicking in his xbox was coming from the fan

    What is this noise coming from my Xbox!?

    Difficult to say for sure but, given it changes in pitch, I would suspect it's the fan. Could be coil whine from the GPU though. Does it get worse when it's on but not actively playing a game?

    I would say, if mine was making that noise, I'd be sending it back for repair as it is not normal...whilst it may not make any performance difference, it's not something you should have to live with for the next few years

    First, welcome to the Xbox community. Well, this problem is not normal, as both the Xbox Series S/X are extremely quiet to the point where you can't hear any noise coming from them. Have you ever had problems with the console other than this, for example, games crashing, messages of overheating, or performance drop?

    In any case, if your console is still under warranty, I suggest that you have it repaired or replaced if necessary. To activate your warranty, you must follow the instructions in the article below.

    Hello, I currently have a warranty claim on the console but when I was sending it off I got a notification that the console would be replaced. I have paid for a skin which is on the device (in sticker format) and I would like to know if it will be replaced if the console is replaced?
