Xbox no longer turns on/off TV/Audio and the Kinect no longer powers on.

I bought my Xbox opening day. I've had a few problems here and there but they seem to work themselves out.

Last week my Kinect stopped working all together and the Xbox doesn't turn on or off my TV anymore. I also noticed the WiFi will randomly cut out and won't work again until a reboot. I've tried doing a hard reset and unplugging the Xbox for a while. No
help. None of my settings seem to have changed either.

Has anyone seen anything like this? Will restoring factory defaults help? Thanks in advance!

Xbox One no longer turns off my audio receiver after Feb. 2014 update

After the latest update, my Xbox One no longer turns off my audio receiver. It turns it on just fine and controls the volume, but no longer turns it off along with my TV when I turn off my Xbox. Anyone else having this issue? It worked totally fine before
the update.

I have a Samsung HW-E550 audio receiver.

Issues after today's update (11/23/15)

Since my Xbox One updated this morning my Kinect no longer works (it's plugged in and I went through the kinect troubleshooting steps on the forums), and I also noticed my TV and surround sound no longer turns on and off with the console. I double checked
the settings everything is still saved in the devices. Also for the kinect is not showing any picture in the settings.

Hi there,

that the TV and Audio aren't powered on or off, is likely caused due to the Kinect Sensor not working, since the Kinect can send the signals to do those actions.

Please try these trouble shooting steps to see if you can get the Kinect to power up again:

support.xbox.com/.../kinect-sensor-not-recognized-by-console if those fail then the Kinect sensor needs replacement, see the steps on that same link on how to do that.

its under the Kinect>? at least for the power setting part... not sure... I am at work.... but I know the 3 options are XBOX OFF turn off Kinect, Turns off Kinect & TV Turns off Kinect TV and Receiver .. XBOX ON turns on etc etc etc

same issue. Mine happened after a power flash (not a surge) where my electronics turned off. Kinect works and controller works but touch button no longer working

Same issue, different tv. What's weird is that the universal code on Xbox matches my dish network universal remote. Despite the codes matching, only the dish remote works for powering on the tv but the Kinect does not. The Kinect only does volume control
on the tv which suggests the ir blaster is hitting the sensor.

My thinking is that Kinect needs to be simulating a longer duration press for powering on and off the television??? Dunno but it would be nice to see this issue addressed for off brand tvs which many of us have.

The TV is a Hiteker 50" TL50Z

The code is T2051 on both dish remote and Kinect
