    Xbox no longer turning on other devices


    So this has been a ongoing issue that I just kinda lived with but seeing as it just flat out doesn't work at all now. It started with my stereo receiver not turning on every now and then and that got to a point where it was 50/50 and was irritating then more recently my tv wouldn't turn on all the time and over the last week my tv just doesn't turn on at all or my receiver when I power on my Xbox I'm in skip ahead with a series x and haven't changed a single setting and don't know why this even started to not work and now just doesn't work at all but any help would be great.

    After hard rebooting your system, does your console now power on all devices like you're expecting? Or do you continually have to hard reboot the system?

    Controller connectivity...Please Advise.......

    I have opened the door on my cabinet and turned off the 2.4ghz wireless bridge that all of my other devices in the Entertainment Center are connected to and I am NOT having the problem any longer. This is BS though as I thought this NEW Xbox was supposed
    to be the Center of the Entertainment Center....but it does not work right when other devices are present? Please come up with a better solution than this!!!

    Try looking in the settings for the sound bar and TV to see if there is an option to turn CEC control off (some companies may call it something else but all means devices can control each other via HDMI) once this is turned off you should hopefully not have
    this issue however both items will no longer turn the other one on or off among other things.

    Just so you can clarify; when you say, "stopping other devices from turning on", you literally mean that when your Xbox is connected to your TV set, the TV will not power on. Same phenomenon when you connect your console to the same power outlet(?) as your
    printer, the printer will not power on?

    Please ensure you are following Xbox Support's steps to pair the controller: https://support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/controller/connect-xbox-wireless-controller-to-pc

    To pair an Xbox Wireless Controller to your PC via Bluetooth:

    Turn on your Xbox Wireless Controller by pressing the Xbox button.

    Press and hold the Pair button on your controller for three seconds (the Xbox button will start flashing rapidly).

    On your PC, press the Start button, then choose Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices (on Windows 11: Settings > Bluetooth & devices).

    Turn on Bluetooth. Select Add Bluetooth or other device > Bluetooth (on Windows 11: Add device). Your PC will begin searching for your controller.

    Select Xbox Elite Wireless Controller > Done.

    If it's still not going into pairing mode, try holding the Pair button for longer than 3 seconds.
