Xbox no longer connected to TV but still powers on TV

That's odd. But reset the console to factory defaults, you won't lose anything but you will need to log in with your account again. Email and password are required.

Follow this path and select reset keeping games and app.

In 5 to 10 minutes you will finish reconfiguring your console

To reset the console>

Settings> System> Console Info> Reset Console

***Do not reset your console without having your account email and password.***

Have you tried to Power Cycle your Xbox. If you didn't do that. Here's what to do

-Power off your Xbox completely

-Disconnect the power brick

-Wait atleast 30 seconds

-Connect the power brick back in & see if the problem still persist

Also, about the issue that you can't connect your Xbox to the TV

Try connecting the cable that came with the Xbox in a different HDMI slot on your TV. If you still having problems. Please try to contact the manufacturer of the TV as it may be a TV problem

When you ran the setup, did you setup the Kinect IR blaster for dish and your tv? does it turn your sat on and tv on /off when your power up your xbox one?

I would then try a full power cycle just to clear everything up and start fresh. Hold your finger on power button for 10 seconds, X1 will power off. Turn back on, be patient through longer boot, then try and watch tv again and see if you get signal.

power off the xbox and disconnect from mains, do the same for the tv, connect tv back to mains and start it up, then power on xbox, should handshake ok then.
