Xbox Night Mode (Xbox One)

I'm using an Xbox One S.

I found the Night Mode option under Accessibility settings after I opted in to Xbox Insider.

All of the screenshots I see show two numbers on the Display button at the top-right, in the Preferences column: a percentage for dim, and filter.

On mine it only shows "50% dim". When I click the setting, for the life of me I can't get to a Filter setting to actually filter blue light.

My DriftTV box has stopped working, and this setting would really be a life-saver.

Thanks for coming to the Xbox Community. According to an Xbox News Article from October when Night Mode was released, "Night Mode on the Xbox Series X|S also adds a customizable blue light filter for your display." The blue light filter is not compatible with the Xbox One S.

You could look for glasses that do that color shift for you - would work.

Some kind of lighter shaded sunglasses or so.

Various goggles for skiing and road bicycle racing as well.

You should get a better HDTV! Smart HDTV's have numerous options, and they should start to roll out this feature in more models. My Samsung Galaxy S8 has this feature! It also has Corning Gorilla Glass 5, perfect for my age group. But HDTV manufacturers
including Sony and Samsung really should role out this feature. Otherwise you should really be asleep after midnight or 11pm. It's your own fault if you're not. But it would be a good feature for Xbox if HDTV manufacturers aren't doing it. Or you can change
your HDTV series to show only a black and white picture by turning down the colour right down <--- I'm pretty sure all or most HDTV's have that setting.... that way there's no blue to worry about.

If you would like to have the Xbox team consider having that feature implemented might I suggest you vote for it on the Xbox Feedback website.

Same problem here and my Xbox One is connected to an UPS NoBreak. There are alot of people with the same problem. I think Microsoft is not aware of this issue.
