  1. Xbox Network setting tests say "Everything is Good" but I cannot connect to Xbox ...

I recently moved to a different city with my brother for a few weeks to hep out a relative. We have both brought our Xbox Ones to play during free time down here (Me using the original packaging as carry-on during a flight, and he just putting it in his
carry-on bag for the flight.) We come from the same house, using the same Internet, on the same flight and take care of our equipment and are now in the same house, using the same Internet and everything... his works fine with no problems at all and mine does
not connect at all even once. It does not let me start games, saying I must be connected, it will not retrieve messages, it will not tell me that anyone is online or not (not that I am sure anyone is), and it will not give me anything at all that may indicate
the Internet is connected at all.

I saw a post saying I should provide this information:

What Country/State/Province do you live in? Australia, QLD

Modem brand & model number: iinet modem, model number unknown

    Router brand & model number:

How many Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles are connected to this router?: Two; my brother connected his first, a few days before mine and mine is "connected" but not working.

Wired or Wireless (for each console): Wireless for both consoles

Things you have tried: Testing connection on the Network settings menu, restarting/reconnecting a number of times,

    Is UPnP Enabled? Yes/No/Unknown: Unknown

Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT type?:

Any Error Codes you encounter: No error codes at all, the network tests say "Everything is good"

Who is your ISP? (Internet Service Provider): I think it is Optus... may be Telstra though.

    :)

SOS: can't fix my Xbox One

Hey guys sorry for the late response but I appreciate your responses! When i set a static IP address, it says "cannot connect to static IP address". When I set it at auto, it says "cannot connect to IP address". I try the test network connection and I get those messages. I tried the ethernet cable and it worked just fine.

I tried the console on two other networks. One at a friends house with a different ISP and different router and the other is my phones WiFi hotspot. it still didn't work. Both of them when I connected to the network I would test network connection and it would say it connected fine. But then I would test multiplayer connection and it would say "could not complete multiplayer test" on my hotspot, and would say "network not setup" at my friends house. I tried downloading a 17gb game demo and it sat at 0.1% for a good half hour.

I talked with someone who's an electrical engineer and is very very tech savvy and he pinged the xbox with the router and said it's connected fine. The router is able to see the xbox with no issue. He's convinced something got screwed up when Microsoft repaired my wireless adapter.

For those having trouble signing in. Error Code: 0x800488FC

Sign in problem is NOT fixed. No error code but can't connect to xbox live. Network test is fine, all other devices get internet service. Multiplayer test says try again. Of course cant play any downloaded games because cant verify account.

Xbox Network setting tests say "Everything is Good" but I cannot connect to Xbox ...

Hi there ! I've had the similar problem when I first moved to Australia and I had TPG as my provider.

I'd recommend trying this restoring the networking hardware back to factory defaults, which will reset the network back to square one allowing the DHCP table to be refreshed and then it will start assigning new ip address to your devices (yeah it maybe annoying
but that you should be able to start off on a new slate and get all the devices connected again)

but if your not willing to give this option a go, then try going "offline" first then you should see an option (assuming the xbox one has the issue) saying forget wireless network then hit that and Once you've completed that step try powercycling the xbox
    and going online again

  6. Restoring the network hardware back to factory default is unfortunately not an option, as my relative only just set it up properly the way he likes, I tried your second option, Jaerowinaus, but to no avail... still looking for a fix. Thanks for the input,
    anyway.

  7. UPDATE: Thanks Jaerowinaus! Your second suggestion, coupled with signing out of my profile, worked!

So for any people with this problem in the future: Forgetting network, singing out of our profile, powercycling the console, and signing back in will fix this issue Xbox Network setting tests say "Everything is Good" but I cannot connect to Xbox ... :)

Thank you for helping me fix this problem, although I had to sign out and sign back in twice after I powercycled it.

xbox one randomly disconnects from xbox live

i ran the tests and they both say:

"Your network is good, but there are some xbox service issues

Sorry, there is a problem on our side, To see which services are affected, check the current service status in Settings > Network or go to Xbox.com/status"

edit: i ran the tests again today and the network connection test says:

    Everything is good

your console is connected to the internet

and the multiplayer connection test says:

    everything is good

there are no problems with your connection for multiplayer. if you're still having trouble, try refreshing your NAT type

    Constant Disconnecting from XBL

    Portia,

Yes i am always unable to reconnect to Xbox Live unless i restart my console, even if the network test says everything is fine. I run the network connection test, it says there are no problems connecting to Xbox Live, so i press the home button, select Connect
to Xbox Live at which point it cannot establish a connection and asks me to run the network test again. Only if I restart my console can I reconnect.

Internet connection but no Xbox live connectivity.

Nope, when I test network connectivity, it says 'Everything is good'.

Connected to live but can't log in

I am having the exact same issue. Every time I test the connection, it says everything is connected, but when I sign in, it kicks me out and says I cannot connect and to test the connection. I went through all the troubleshooting steps - turning the modem
off, re configuring the network, deleting corrupted files, etc, and still cannot log in to Xbox Live.

    No Wifi Connection

You mean on the xbox? I am trying manually different channels, but it is still not working. The test connection still everything is good, NAT keeps saying "Strict", and when trying to use Netflix or YouTube it says no internet connection. Then as soon as
I go to the home page and back to settings I have to select the network again. What else can I change or try on the Xbox?

I've gone back to automatic on All, IP and NAT and it says cannot connect to your DHCP server, to restart the router, which I have done.
