Xbox network problems, please help!

I've been having a bit of a problem lately. I'll get on Xbox Live and play a few matches of black ops 2, but then I get disconnected from Xbox live. I try to sign in again, but it says I have no network connection. When I run an Xbox live connection test,
I get the error message: you can connect to Xbox live, but your current network configuration may limit your ability to hear other players and play online. This has been happening for a few months now and it is quite annoying to get continuously disconnected
from Xbox live while trying to play my favorite game. If anyone knows how to fix this, that would be greatly appreciated!

Hi! I can definitely understand your frustration! Hopefully I can help

First, DMZ should be off. Secondly, have you attempted to reset your network card on your console. You can do this by going to settings->system->network settings then select wired, configure network and to advanced settings and reset network card. Then turn
your console off, unplug it, unplug your modem, let it sit for 2 minutes then plug your router in, wait for lights to stop blinking, then plug in console and boot it up. Then go back to network settings, wired and test Xbox live connection. What error is it
showing?

Alright, about a month ago I moved to a new apartment complex. We only have one internet option here and it is absolute CRAP, every rating is one star, so I don't wanna hear any of that "get better net bro" junk. I have the best available option for them,
and it's still terrible.

When I first booted up my xbox I couldn't connect to my friends game or party/private chat. So I messed with my network settings and changed the DMZ, port forwarding, UPnP, all that network bullcrap, and eventually got it to work. Next time I tried playing
it didn't work, so I changed the settings again and found that my ip adress was being changed on my xbox. It worked for a bit, and now nothing has worked at all for the past two weeks.

I have tried EVERYTHING. I have tested every combination of DMZ, forwarding, and UPnP, I have connected it to my laptop and set up a network bridge, I even went out and bought a 50 FOOT Ethernet cable to make a wired connection
and it still DID NOT WORK.

I am at my wits end. For the love of GOD, someone help me out. Don't redirect me to that one forum about open nats, don't send me a link to some other thread about how "these guys are having the same problem as you man", there are
thousands of you guys out there that are experts on this stuff, so SOMEONE give me some advice!

Hello, your problem that you might have is a NAT type error. Go to (forums.xbox.com/.../1989383.aspx) to see if it can help solve that. It could
also be a problem with your network configuration so just go to configure network and go to additional settings and go restore factory defaults.
