    Hello! So I'm sure a lot of people have a similar issue but not quite as mine so here's a long one.

    Ever since I tried downloading the Spec Ops Pack 2 for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019, my xbox hasn't been able to connect to the internet through wifi and it wont start up games unless I'm using an ethernet cable, sometimes it even crashes entirely.
    The problem started right after i switched my location from New Zealand to U.S and restarted my console, so I'm lost on what actually caused this issue in the first place. Here's a list of things I did to try and fix the problem, in no particular order

    1. Power Cycled

    2. Reset my location to New Zealand and then back again to U.S

    3. Reset xbox

    4. Reinstalled Modern Warfare.

    5. Reset both modem and router (DHCP issue came up)

    My xbox one is the first year model that came with gears of war ultimate edition. Should I keep trying to fix, wait it out or send it to MS?

    Interesting... true it was another COD game that was causing problems in the past.

    Well.. Microsoft got another £300 out of me as I cant sit around whilst all my friends play

    Bought another console an Xbox One S.. hopefully that will work.

    Would be nice if someone from Activision or Microsoft actually commented on my posts or got back to me te all the bug issue requests I have posted... 😡

    This issue is widespread and Activision and Microsoft are both aware of the problem.

    It’s a huge bummer, but hopefully there will be an update with a patch sometime this week.

    I have an Xbox one X Project Scorpio console. Had it about a year. Play it all day long..no problems. Since i installed COD MW it makes my Xbox conaole really hot .. really quickly.. then the game freezes and my Xbox just shuts down completely...

    This is so frustrating.. been waiting months for this game to come out..

    Spoke to an Activision ambassador early this morning (28th October), they said a new patch was coming out today..

    Installed it.. and low and behold the same problem still..

    Left 4 messages with Activision Support. Still waiting for someone to respond ??

    Getting a joke now. The 😡😡😡😡😡
    Mine actually got worse with the new patch. I cant even make it through 1 game with out the freeze and turn off. Then I cant connect to party chat for 20 minutes. It's almost like my firewall on my router is burning down my xbox and shutting down ports after
    it happens like it's being attack. I mean I have seen games freeze up my xbox x (BLOPS4) but not like this. Interesting that the other game was also an activision game and of the COD series.

    I'm not sure what the fix is, but I know I have been having issues with my wifi since I downloaded MW. Strange right? Been having issues with my NAT also. Never had any issues with my UPnP until this game. Now all of a sudden 1 port will not be requested
    to be open. Had to turn off my IPv6 to get everything to work right. Still have issues. Could be the weather change though. Cable can be like that when coax starts to expand or contract at fast paced. We went from 75 to 30 farhieght in a day. I run multiple
    xboxes so I would prefer to stay UPnP. You might try port forwarding or trying another port and see if that works for you. I know my wired xbox has no issues. Just the one that is wifi.
