    Xbox Network Issue


    For the past 3 days my network has said The following services are experiencing issues purchase and content usage and TV music and video. I saw an alert on the xbox status website and it said there was a problem but 2 other Xbox's in my home do not have
    any issue or have this message the biggest issue is install my owned games . Ill put the disk in the console it'll be begin to install and get to around 100mbs before it'll say install stopped and after that point no matter what i try it wont install further
    it'll just sit there for 10 mins until it stops the install again I dont know if this is a problem on my end or theirs all attempts to contact xbox have been unhelpful. Is there anything i can do ? or do I have to just wait and hope xbox fixes it on their
    own ? any help would be tremendously helpful thank you very much .

    i was on both netflix and amazon for the last few weeks.. regularly at 8pm-6am... yes i am on an odd schedule. i have had 0 issues with streaming. when i have had issues it was due to my connection dropping..

    i think people are quick to blame xbox because they want issues...

    to many variables with network connection... things go down for maintance be it the program,the network its hard to pinpoint. but it is easy to assume.

    It updated, still doesn't work. I'm wondering if it's a network issue, but both my xbox and PC are networked via ethernet cable to a motorola sbg6580

    XBOX networking issue

    Power cycle your network by unplugging the power to the modem & router for about 60 seconds.

    Go to Settings > Network > Network Settings > Forget Wireless Network

    Go to Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate MAC Address > Clear > let the Xbox Restart

    Reconnect to your wireless network again

    Go to Advanced settings > DNS Settings > Manual - Set the Primary DNS as 8.8.8.8 and the Secondary as 8.8.4.4

    Go to Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate MAC Address > Clear > let the Xbox Restart

    Go to Setting > Network Settings > Detailed Network Statistics

    The Xbox will use as fast a connection as it's getting from the router, and often the router is the source of the issue.

    You should see - Download / Upload / Packet Loss / MTU / Latency

    Download needs to be 3.5 Mbps or higher

    Upload needs to be 0.5 Mbps or higher

    Packet Loss should be at 0%

    MTU 1480 (usually)

    Latency the lower the better and no more than 150ms

    Post your Detailed Network Statistics here if you're still having issues

    I have a cat6 which is capable of speeds in the gigabites. Not to mention this has been going on for many months, I recently JUST got my ethernet becuase i figured it was a "wireless issue" its maybe 1 month old now. My situation is much deeper than i would
    say a distance from modem to xbox issue or a port issue. Like i said, Im not sure if my isp is dropping my ports or what. Or if there's a packet rule thats dropping a specific port and im just not seeing it.

    although maybe if I did look into upgrading cables, i'd be worried about wasting time and money.

    Fixes for Teredo is unable to qualify

    • Check your Internet connection.
    • Uninstall and reinstall the Teredo adapter.
    • Check if the startup type of IP Helper is set to automatic.
    • Set the Teredo server name to its default.
    • Delete unnecessary entries.
    • Check if your router has been configured to enable Teredo connectivity.

    From the Start menu try Settings->Gaming->Xbox Networking then click the "Fix it" button after the test runs. Press "Check again" to see if it helps.
