Xbox Network Game Transfer - Series S

Hi,

Since the Series S has no optical drive you'll need to by the digital version of MCC from the Xbox Store to play in on the Series S.

You can transfer the already installed game across consoles either via a network transfer or external storage device, but you'll still need to buy the game again to play on the Series S. Transferring, copying or moving the game is often quicker than downloading the game from the Xbox Store.

Hi There.

You are not able to use external Disc drives or network transfer of gaming disc to the Series S.

The Series S is digital download only and physical game discs are not usable on the system.

Just attach an external hdd and copy them over

Now if it's a digital only console like series s or Xbox one s digital then only digital games will work

Network transfer can take awhile a HD transfer is faster

And doesn't require both consoles to be connected to a tv

I network transferred CoD Cold War from my xbox one to series s that was on disc and now I'm getting this error code and the game won't start, can this be fixed?

Did you do a network transfer from the XBox One to the Series S? Or did you just donwload it normally from the Store? If it's the former, try uninstalling then downloading direct from the Store..quite a lot of people have had issues with Network transfers of games from XB1 to next gen
