Xbox needs to go back to being user friendly to all types of gamers not just multiplayer

First and foremost I do not want ambassadors making comments that is not relevant to my post or simply to apologize that my experience with the always online motto or to suggest user voice. And Ambassadors who belittle me and talk down to me will be reported
repeatedly. Before and if you decide to reply don't make false accusations if you don't comprehend what I'm saying and don't be negative. I only want other ideas and positive input on solutions not negative multiplayer lovers who want greedy cash grab games
like destiny 1 and 2, Anthem, ESO, ect and who don't care about real games. I get they have single player games that require an online connection 24/7 it's stupid don't know why they thought that was a good idea. Yes I have contacted tech support for this
ongoing issue of well over three years. That's how I got some of the facts on why they have always online. I'm just saying there could have been a much better solution.

Now with that out of the way what I'm saying and suggesting does not mean I condone theft. I just wish Microsoft had a better way to just plug and play then with all the red tape now. I'm not bashing mmos or multiplayer games but I do not like them. I've
tried many over the years and there full of rage gamers and the most toxic communities ever. To each there own. That's not the issue.

I'm tired of having to restart a game because I get dash boarded so they can ask if I own the game 50 times a day sometimes. There has to be much better ways to for them like download the rights to the game or put them back on the disk so we can play offline
or not connected if we so chose. For those of you that are about to say there is a way, no there isn't. Appearing online or offline is not at all what I'm talking about. Not game sharing. Even if I was game sharing with one person in my house that has nothing
to do with the main issue. Even so bringing back the family gold pass would eliminate the issues with game sharing and add the ability to share games within your home. At least for my needs.

But there still would be the issue of having to always be online or check every day even for older games that have no online features such as original xbox titles and 360 titles that have no connectivity for online but require you to be online to play any
and all games regardless of there functionality and features. I get there are service issues but whether or not xbox live is up and running we should still be able to play a game that is single player and has no online features. Even if there was a co op or
multi player feature for a game we should still be able to access the single player story even if we didn't have access to the multi player because of service disruptions on xbox live or internet failure due to weather ect.

Personally I think this issue can be resolved if they invested in an update for this generation of console and bring back the golden days of gaming rather then this always connected and were watching you in a stalker kind of way. I just want to play a game
without any and all string like it use to be. There wasn't a problem with it. Even if for digital games which they are nice other security measures can be put in place as I suggested above then limit and restrict how we game. Not everyone wants to partake
in the friends/online community and that's there choice. I'm a drama free guy and just avoid the inevitable said drama that comes along with games such as destiny ect. Sorry not sorry if I hurt your feelings. I don't care if some people like playing games
with "friends" but I game to escape other people and experience an amazing story with many many hours of game time like the witcher 3. My personal preference.

I get technology evolves and sometimes it's great but lately most of the times it's a pain. I didn't come here for trouble shooting answers as I stated which I pursued many times with the useless customer service. I want ideas not negative remarks
by people who only care about one type of gaming but all gaming.

You misunderstand. The issue is its random and periodic when it happens. Nothing is wrong with my profile. It does happen with disc copies. The issue is that Microsoft needs to check now on a frequent basis whether or not someone owns any said game. I
was told this by Microsoft customer support via phone call some 2 years ago. It doesn't matter if I have I appear offline(which is not the same thing is actually being offline) is turned offline and my xbox is set to home.

Thanks for coming to the forums with your issue. With the game saying do you own it a lot, Have you tried a

soft factory reset? Also being you don't want to play online have you set your console offline? To do this correctly you need to be connected online, go to network settings and select go offline. Also with this make sure your home console is set to that
console.

With the games mostly becoming online, they are going with the majority of gamers. Personally, I am in agreement with you that all games should at least have the choice of online.

If you can't play your digital purchased games with the console set to your home and the console offline, there must be something with either your console or your profile. This issue would also affect Xbox One disc based games as well.

My apologies here, but it seems to me you are making the assumption that the play offline feature is some type of lie by Microsoft, Correct? And you are making this assumption because it isn't currently working on your console.

On a working account or console, the offline feature works fine. Mine works. I've still been able to play my digital games when Xbox Live has suffered downtime, or if indeed my own Internet has been unavailable.

Please also bear in mind, both original Xbox and Xbox 360 backwards compatible titles when they are run for the first time via an original disc, must download the game from the Xbox Live servers. The Xbox One isn't capable of installing these old titles
from their original media. Once they are installed, they can also work offline like many Xbox One games.
