Xbox needs to be disconnected than reconnected before XBL will work

Discus and support Xbox needs to be disconnected than reconnected before XBL will work in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Every single time I turn my xbox on i need to disconnect it from the router.     Xbox needs to be disconnected than reconnected before XBL will work


    Every single time I turn my xbox on i need to disconnect it from the router. Reconnect it than test my connection in order for my xbox to get on live. It never did that for my older xbox. When I turn it on i get a test connection notification and have to
    disconnect.

    Whats going on? How can I fix this? I have a Verizon D-Link DSL-2750B Board

    is anyone else having problems with the market place.

    I think that microsoft may be doing preperation work for the new update that is due soon. I myself have had a little bother with being taken out of parties and then being put back in again, also trouble with friends avatars disappearing
    then reappearing and being disconnected from xbl then reconnected again! Its very annoying!!

    I keep getting disconnected and reconnected to XBL

    one other thing I will say about my setup , people who come over and don't even think they have problems and that theirs works fine cant believe when they see how fast getting into a MP game is on mine , Halo or starwars , black opp III , matchmaking is
    FAR superior , they are like "mine will start a match , then cancel , then restart , then people drop out " stuff like that... and my internet isn't that great 15 down 1.5 up ...

    Disconnection from XBL after modifications in account securtiy

    After disconnection, I try to reconnect and get an error 80151904. But if i wait a few minutes i can reconnect without problems and when i try to do something with XBL, after a few time i get disconnected as said before.

    Update:

    I upped the MTU on my router to 1600. XBL still randomly disconnects. Immediately after disconnect I can reconnect to XBL.

    Please help!

    I get the message for the update and it disconnects me from XBL before the update message. I exit out, reconnect to XBL and then download the patch.

    It took me about 5 tries to stay connected and download. Hope this helps some of you.
