Xbox needs to allow the option to manually accept or deny friend requests for the Series X

There is no DMZ feature on my router and you're right in that it would break everything else I needed ports forwarded to. I did, however, find an acceptable solution. I modified my miniupnpd.conf to deny all the 360's requests altogether and deny any other
clients access to the ports the 360 wants (namely 3074).

deny 0-65535 192.168.1.20 0-65535 <--- 360's static IP denied for all ports

deny 3074 0.0.0.0/0 3074 <--- All other devices denied on 3074

allow 1025-65535 0.0.0.0/0 1025-65535 <--- Allow all other devices ports 1025+ (except 3074)

I then used manual port forwarding for the 360. So I get uPnP for everything on my network that plays nice with it and manual port forwarding for the 360 since it's not. I also blacklisted the 360's ports from being assigned to other devices, to avoid
conflicts. Connection tests are all passing now and my other devices seem happy with the arrangement so far.

You need to change your privacy settings to allow for a friend request to get accepted or send.

If you didn't see the option Cancel immediately and get a refund, your only option is to turn off recurring billing and then request a refund by filling the form at:

You will need the order number that can be seen at:

https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders

If your refund request is denied, you can reply to the email about the denial explaining your situation. The refund team will manually review your refund request again. But if it is denied again, please contact Mojang support since the order was fully processed on the Microsoft side.

How many people have you tried sending a friend request to? If just one or two, it's possible their friends lists are full. A 360 user can have a maximum of 100 friends, which also includes incoming and outgoing requests that have not yet been accepted/denied.

Try someone else and see if that works.

Unfortunately if you were denied a refund the only option left is to appeal the decision. You do that by replying to the email denying you the refund.
