Xbox needs constant rebooting

I have had the Xbox since day one and have had nothing but problems. My first console suffered from the disc grinding noise. I sent it in and received a console that worked for a while. But then it started to need to be unplugged and rebooted because it
would freeze and then not open any games or apps. Rebooting would help for a little bit but eventually within the day it would need it again. So again I sent it back only to receive it back quickly saying after extensive testing they found nothing wrong. Then
for some reason (maybe due to the hard reset) it worked. But low and behold it could only last for about a week. Now my Xbox One needs the reboot every day just to play. It'll be fine for a few games of Madden but then later I may come back to try it out and
nothing. I wanted to see if anyone had this issue or what I should do because clearly something is wrong with my console and it is kind of hard to enjoy the system when it gives me such a hard time every time I use it.

Losing TV/cable signal need help

I have FIOS and I have the same issue with the constant blinking screen. I hope they come out with an update or something to pay $500.00 for an entertainment/gaming system with such an issue. Plugging and unplugging the HDMI cable, rebooting cable box, restarting
Xbox and so on is not good at all.

Thanks for the input everybody! I'm looking at alternatives to Time Warner because of constant billing issues, and poor customer service (not service done poorly, by any means, but their practices as a company). Throw in tv receivers that are solw and need
rebooting constantly, and it just gets frustrating paying the top dollar they charge for what doesn't feel like top dollar service. I will check out that DSLreports.com, thanks Cat.

 

no i haven't had any problems like that yer sure it may take a long time sometimes to go to app from a game but i just wait. With my console the only minor thing that is annoying is that whenever i am away my xbox turns it self on sometimes however its
was an easy fix i just unplugged it every time i went out or went to sleep. errrrr i know it is annoying but i just say wait until it get very very much worse.

 

Thank you for the reply. Yeah I understand it's not that bad but it just really sucks to have to do it all the time. It's supposed to be this amazing system and I feel it should run better than this. Especially when playing games online and it stops than
that counts as a loss for me even though that wasn't my fault. But for the time being I guess it's not so bad. I'll probably end up sending it in here in a month or so if the problem persists just to see what they say.
