xbox name your game bundle...pathetic...

PC guy buying a console for my kids. Spent over $500 for the system which came with the name your game bundle. I followed all the instructions, went to the website, entered the code....absolutely nothing happened. What a joke. I've had this machine connected
now for 12 hours and my kids can't even play it. I reached out to customer service and they told me to fill out a form which could take 3 days to process. again, WHAT A JOKE. They use a 3rd party to process the redemption of the "included" game which should
be ready to download and install immediately. (as any normal person would expect with the technology today) Wow, something from Microsoft that doesn't work, what a shocker....

Name Your Game Xbox bundle

I recently bought an Xbox console by getting a bundle, the "Xbox Name Your Game" bundle. The bundle brings the console, wireless controller, and a downlodable game you pick from four options the bundle offers. The Xbox brings a redemption code that asks
for me to go to xbox.com/name-your-game. Sadly enough, that link did not work because it was changed or something. So I contacted Xbox chat support and they sent me the right link to request my game. I did that putting my name, email address, and redemption
code. Then, the website notified that I would receive an email within 24 hours with the link to download the game to the console but I have not received that yet.

 

If you read the terms and conditions correctly it does state the proccess

Yes you get a code but to be used at the ms store site then you wait for the codes for the xbox store

 

so I assume you are suggesting that I should have opened the box in the middle of Best Buy to read the terms and conditions? good call...
