Lost Xbox Live MS Points

I have lost MS Points on Xbox Live. Several months ago after I made a purchase of the Mass Effect 2 Arrival add-on content, my balance was 3600 points. Last night when I checked, my balance was now 1700, meaning that 1900 points were inexplicably lost.
I checked, and indeed there were no other downloads purchased other than the said game add-on content. And so I am at a loss as to how my points where lost. What can I do to recover the 1900 Xbox Live MS Points?

Gamerscore glitched

A few months ago I got my gamerscore reset to 0. I earned at least 1900 gamerscore after I was reset. Today when I went on Xbox I looked at my gamerscore and it was 39120. I never modded my gamerscore after I got reset. Can I get banned for this? I even
deleted my profile off my Xbox and recovered it, it went back to 1900 then I checked later and my gamerscore went back to 39120. Is there anything I can do to make my gamerscore go back to 1900?

Did you request a deposit at some point? Deposits took place today so they could have been added to your account. You can also check for deposits at Sign in to your Microsoft account

total I've earned 1900 MS points and I'm not a faithful on my survey every month or whatever. I do take advantage of buying certain titles and take advantage of upgrade/subscription deals.

Reward Points expire roughly a year later, I lost 450 MS points a couple of months ago.

It says I have 0 Rewards Points also, but looks like a system problem as I also had trouble logging in and hit a few error 500's.

When I pre-ordered MW3 Hardened Edition recently, they confirmed I had £21 worth of points, and I even have a Reward Card Statement issued last month reading roughly the same figure, so your points haven't disappeared.

Fear not.

Edit: Tweet from GAME as of two minutes ago: "Asking about the status of your reward points? Don't worry, your points are still there but will take up to 48hrs to be viewable."
