XBOX Music will play but wont download

I have a current XBox Music Pass subscription. I am able to play music in my collection and music in the store but I cant download albums or add songs to my collection.

I am getting the error code: 0xc00d36b2 when I try to add a song to my collection on my tablet. I definitley have storage available so Im not sure whats happening or how to fix it. (or who to call for help). I have struggled with this for months so if I
cant fix it soon then Ill just use another music service that has better support.

Xbox Music Pass / Zune Pass playing with WMP

***UPDATE****

Just for added weirdness I stumbled across this, if I download a song from XB Music Pass as we have already discussed it wont play in WMP but if I then download the same song from Zune which it saves into a different location ( \Music\Subscription compared
to ..\Music\Xbox Music\Subscription Cache) then both versions will play in WMP . . . WOW CRAZY!!

anybody feel like shedding light on this ?

I hope you realize nothing you purchase belongs to you.If you cancel your subscription you do not get access to your purchased content.

 

yeah its really kind of dumb, I don't know why they bother with music, same with movies, too expensive, plus I heard that the music has all kinds of advertising, yet we pay $90 a year for a service, plagued with ads.

 

You should do what I do. Don't listen to music at all, it's a lot cheaper. I don't like music though, seems to be that you do. It's is physically impossible for me to enjoy music.

 

Why would you pay MS to allow them to lock content you paid for? Just use other free services like LastFM or Pandora.

 

It is not obvious, but this is how I do it in Windows 8.1.

1. Go to Album View in the Marketplace.

2. Select (with shift/left click or ctrl/left click) the tunes that you want to add to your collection.

3. Drag the selected items over to the Collection button on the menu on the left hand side of the screen.

I have found no official documentation saying that this is how you do it, but it works for me.

MS should have included an option for this under the (...) button, but haven't.

I still don't understand why MS didn't just carry over the Zune app from Win 7. That was an excellent and intuitive piece of software.
