Xbox Music Will Not Play On Windows Phone At All. This has been an issue since day one

Hello All,

I have a Lumnia 520. This is my first windows phone and I got it from a contest for free. My primary phone is a 5s where I use Xbox music flawlessly. I also have an android tablet and surface pro where xbox music works without issue, but my wp8 can't seem
to ever play I always get error 803A0007.

Things I have tried.

I have the actual xbox music app

I have reset my entire phone no luck

Removed the device online and then log back into it on phone

Internet Edge/Explorer Crashes ALL the time

Mine has been crashing since day 1. My crappy windows phone runs i.e better than Xbox One.

Why is the Xbox Music app re-downloading all my music?

I too have experienced every issue listed here and more..... I can't use the sync app because XBox DRM content won't play on my windows phone 8 device.... I would download it from the cloud on the phone but the only option for that is one song at a time???
The Modern app has NO options for syncing to the phone and Media player has the same issue with the Xbox DRM content I didn't have any issue with Zune.. I currently have no music on my phone because of these issues. Please, Please can someone from Microsoft
please explain to me how I am supposed to get XBox DRM content onto my phone and be able to play it? I talked to XBox support today and they said the would escalate the issue but syncing Zune playlists is not supported on Windows phone 8... So basically
Sorry you bought our new device to listen to music one because unless you want to stream everything costing you massive $$$$ unless you are on WiFi you can no longer listen to your music.

I've had a similar problem over the years. I am trying to remember how I solved it. One thing I remember is you cannot be streaming anything anywhere else---or have done so recently (somehow the system still thinks you are streaming if you quit a playlist
mid-stream, for example). Make sure your new phone shows up active in your Xbox Music device list. I can't help you with your iPhone or Android tablet, as I am not sure how these may count against your device total. I have actually called Xbox support before
when I could not get a phone active. I ran up against that limit of activations/deactivations in a month while trying to get a new phone online. They reset my count and I had to go in a re-authorize my 4 devices. That worked.

Has anyone been able to find a solution? I've been on Zune from the pre HD days went though Windows 7 and 7.5 phone with no issues. Now, with Windows 8 Pro and Windows I get to deal with this. My music doesn't work reliable on anything.

I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with your Xbox Music on your phones. Let's see what we can do to get things sorted.

First off: Is this still acting up for you?

I did some research and found
This Page which has a couple users with issues that seemed similar to yours.

It was replied to by a forum moderator who had this to say:

"From what I see you are unable to use your Music Pass on your windows phone 8.

There has been a temporary the last few days with the Music Pass on Windows Phone 8, according to most users the issue has now been solved and the music works perfectly across all devices.

Let us know if the issue persists on your phone."

If you're still having issues with this, I would suggest tweeting @winphonesupport as well to see if they have any suggestions for you.

The cloud syncing to the phone has been a little iffy since it's launch. What the tech support for Xbox Music will tell you is to make sure the tracks you are adding are part of the Cloud. Please note that Music Pass content is not automatically added to
the Cloud.

If you're making a playlist out of Music Pass content and that is not syncing, the music has to be added to the Cloud collection, usually through Xbox Music on Windows 8.
