Discus and support Xbox Music Terms of Use Error in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I have Windows 8.1 and a subscription for Xbox Music. Whenever I open Xbox Music, it fails to sign in.     Xbox Music Terms of Use Error


    I have Windows 8.1 and a subscription for Xbox Music. Whenever I open Xbox Music, it fails to sign in. A message pops up saying "To continue, create an Xbox profile". It gives me links to the Xbox Terms of Use and the Privacy Statement, and then gives me
    the option of "I Accept" or "Cancel". Neither option allows me to sign in on Xbox Music. I have viewed both documents, yet afterwards "I Accept" still does not sign in. Every time I load Xbox Music, the same message pops up, failing to sign in. I am signed
    in on the Xbox website and many of my other apps with the same account that I have the Xbox Music subscription. The subscription is active until January.

    Hey there FastenedStone51.

    Odd that you're not able to accept the Terms of Use properly. If you visit account.microsoft.com, are you directed to the Terms of Use page or does it take you directly to the account page? If it asks you accept the Terms of Use, are you able to do so there?

    Can you share with us the exact error that you are seeing when you try to download music on the Xbox Music app? Include any error codes that are associated with the message, also.



    In the meantime, Can you un-install the Xbox Music app by right-clicking on it and selecting "Uninstall", Then in the Metro UI type WSReset.exe, and press enter. Once it's completed, restart your computer. After the restart, re-install Xbox Music and try
    using the app again.

    I appreciate the reply, however as noted above I am already an Xbox Music subscriber. I am downloading music using my Xbox Music Pass to the storage on my WP8.

    I plug the WP8 into my xbox. Using the guide music player, I navigate to the music folders on my wp8 and attempt to play. It worked the first week I purchased the phone and now gives me the error code mentioned above.

    Hey Ikez! Sorry to hear about the music troubles. The reason you are getting a usage rights error is because the DRM cannot verify your account that originally downloaded the music. Are you trying to play the music through Zune, or through Xbox Music? Let
